GaryGrothMarnat:

Gary Groth-Marnat, Ph.D., ABPP is an author, lecturer, researcher, and practicing clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (Division 12), fellow of the Society for Personality Assessment, board certified with the American Board of Professional Psychology, board certified with the American Board of Assessment Psychology, and a licensed psychologist in California. He has held core and adjunct academic positions at Curtin University (Western Australia), Deakin University (Victoria, Australia), and Fielding Graduate University (Santa Barbara, California). In addition, he has been continuously involved in clinical work through private practice (psychotherapy, psychological assessment, clinical neuropsychology, forensic psychology) and clinical consultation (Rehabilitation Institute of Santa Barbara, Western Australian Department of Health). Dr. Groth-Marnat is the author of four books (Handbook of Psychological Assessment; Neuropsychological Assessment in Clinical Practice: A Guide to Test Interpretation and Integration; Integrative Assessment of Adult personality; Psychological Testing and Assessment) and over 120 journal articles, monographs, and chapters in books. Research interests include the psychological report, psychological assessment, dreams of terminally ill patients, near death experiences, hypnosis, dissociation, and eating disorders.

Dr. Groth-Marnat is a core faculty member and research coordinator (Clinical Ph.D.) at Pacifica Graduate Institute where he has taught for the past 6 years. He is also involved in private practice, provides professional training workshops, serves on editorial review boards, and is currently working on a fifth edition of Handbook of psychological assessment.
