This event was a Pacifica Graduate Institute conference held on May 18-19, 2002 and hosted by the Community/Ecological Fieldwork and Research Council of the Depth Psychology Doctoral Program.

Depth Psychology Doctoral Program.

Depth Psychology has much to contribute to the creation of spaces for dialogue, the hosting of marginalized voices, the seeing-through of cultural myths, and the cultivation of community vision and imagination. Community and Ecological Fieldwork and Research at Pacifica Gradate Institute strive to nurture vocational leadings that nourish these capacities, working toward critical and interdisciplinary understanding that span the psychological and the cultural. This interactive conference explored how depth and liberation psychologies are inspiring and informing restorative community work with youth. Pacifica faculty, graduate students, and distinguished guest presenters turned their attention to the shape of this work where our focus is on creating soulful communities with our younger members.
