A Room Full of Rumi . . .
and other Middle Eastern Mystics
Alumnus, Farshid Yadegar, hosted the Los Angeles and Orange County regional group in his home Saturday evening, February 23, 2008. Participants brought a few of their favorite Middle Eastern or Sufi poems (i.e. Rumi, Hafiz, etc.) and shared with the group. There was fabulous Persian music weaving through the evening as well. There was an array of treats from Iran on which to feast. Oh, and this was a great chance to wear those gorgeous pashminas and shawls you've collected!
"I'm always a little nervous going into a group where I do not know anyone. But everyone was welcoming and fun." Barbara Bishop
"It was a terrific mix of people doing a variety of things with their lives and their Pacifica experiences. Just as I expected. " Marilyn Owen
