In celebration of the Special Event for James Hillman, an extraordinary gathering coming next June in Pittsburgh and the accompanying book, Archetypal Psychologies: Reflections in Honor of James Hillman, edited by Stanton Marlan and published by Spring Journal Books, the Imaginal Institute is proud to host a free, seven-week, online conversation beginning February 1, 2008, exploring some of his ideas and those of scholars his work has touched. Several eminent scholars who have contributed to the upcoming book, including Edward Casey, David Miller, Glen Slater, and Mary Watkins, as well as Hillman’s official biographer, Dick Russell, will join us, along with members of the myth and archetypal psychology community from around the world.
